General Volunteer Tasks
Supply Distribution for Clients
We have a food bank and supply room that is open to our clients Tuesday through Thursday from 10am to 3pm. During those days we need a volunteer in charge of distributing food and supplies to our clients. This is a great way to get to know our clients and really help the community.
Administrative Support
Administrative help is always needed! This could include filing paper records, calling our clients with reminders for upcoming appointments, transcribing voicemails, and more. Basic comfort with computers is helpful, but not necessary.
Client Stories
We are always in need of written stories about our clients and their pets! We are looking for volunteers to spend some time with our clients while they wait for their clinic appointment and ask them a few questions about their pets and how they got to PAW Team.
Transport Volunteers
Pet Appointment Transportation
Our clients often struggle with reliable transportation. Therefore, we offer transportation services for pets only (we do not transport clients) to and from surgery appointments (primarily spay/neuter). We require you to have a reliable vehicle, proof of current insurance, and a valid driver's license. Transport times are typically a morning drop-off and afternoon to evening pick-up. However, these times can be flexible with enough notice.
Pet Supply Delivery
In an effort to socially distance and keep people safe, we are looking for volunteers to deliver essential pet supplies (Food, Medicine, Litter, etc.) to our clients and their pets. We require you to have a reliable vehicle, proof of current insurance, and a valid driver's license. Delivery times can be flexible around your schedule, depending on the situation.
Donation Pick-Up
PAW Team is very fortunate to receive donations of pet supplies from local pet stores, vet clinics, community partners, and individuals which enables us to provide free pet supplies and medications to folks in need. We are looking for volunteers help with picking up donations from local donors and delivering the items to PAW Team. We require you to have a reliable vehicle, proof of current insurance, and a valid driver's license. Pick up and delivery times can be flexible around your schedule, depending on the situation.
Photographer
Love taking pictures of adorable pets and their people? Pictures are the best way to tell PAW Team's story and we need as many pictures as we can get. We aim to have a photographer at every clinic. You can always borrow one of our iPhones if you don't have a fancy camera.
