PAW Team is unique - we impact two significant social issues - animals and homelessness.
By directly providing care for the pets of people on the streets or who live in poverty, we reduce animal disease and prevent public health crises from infectious diseases such as rabies.
By treating animal companions, we provide a way to connect with the homeless and low income families and assist them in accessing other social services, including housing.
Our spay and neuter program helps people take better care of their pets, and helps ensure that each companion animal is loved and wanted. It helps reduce the strain on shelters and the number of stray animals.
We know the bond between people and their pets is one of the most rewarding, important relationships there is. When you've lost everything material you still have the love of your pet. We help keep pets healthy and pets and people together.
